WE'RE HOSTING OUR 4th ANNUAL VETERANS' BENEFIT AT JAZZ LOUISIANA KITCHEN IN THE LEGENDS SHOPPING CENTER 1859 Village West Parkway Kansas City, KS SATURDAY, DECEMBER 5TH 7:00-11:00 PM WE ARE HONORED TO HAVE, PERFORMING WITH BLUE RIVER ORDONNANCE, BOBBY SMITH ON SAX & "MISSISSIPPI JED" ON HARMONICA PURPOSE: To collect needed personal items for veterans in the Domiciliary Residential Care and Rehabilitation Treatment Center at the Leavenworth VA Hospital. There will be a drop off bin for donations at Jazz, between the above hours. Also, tax-deductible checks can be written to VFW #2993. Items needed are: shampoo conditioner soap (they love scented/perfumed, since they aren't allowed colognes or anything with alcohol) razors shaving cream toothbrushes toothpaste antiperspirant combs/brushes laundry soap with bleach (powder only-they don't allow liquid) socks (men's and women's) underwear of all sizes (men's and women's) coffee (ground) powdered creamer sugar (Please, no mouthwash/aftershave, etc. containing alcohol (drug/alcohol rehab) MANY THANKS, AND, HOPE TO SEE YOU!!! |
